Purpose of the processing

We will never sell your personal data to anyone.

QS MoveIN Analytics, a self hosted analytics tool, to analyse the behaviour of the website visitors to identify potential pitfalls; not found pages, search engine indexing issues, which webpages are most appreciated. Once the data is processed (number of visitors reaching a not found pages, viewing only one page…), QS MoveIN generates reports for internal product teams to take action, for example changing the layout of the pages, enhancing the performance of specific webpage etc.

QS MoveIN is processing the following personal data:

  • Cookies (Strictly necessary, Performance/Analytics Cookies)
  • IP address (Anonymized IP addresses by 2 byte(s)
  • Location of the user (Country & Region Level tracking)

And also:

  • Date and time
  • Title of the page being viewed
  • URL of the page being viewed
  • URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page
  • Screen resolution
  • Time in local timezone
  • Files that were clicked and downloaded
  • Link clicks to an outside domain
  • Pages generation time
  • Country
  • Main Language of the browser
  • User Agent of the browser

Processing your personal data such as cookies is helping us identify what is working and what is not on our website. Removing a cookie in Mozilla Firefox involves clicking on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner ➔ selecting Settings ➔ navigating to Privacy & Security ➔ under Cookies and Site Data, clicking on Manage Data ➔ where you can select specific cookies to remove or click Remove All to delete all cookies. To prevent cookies from being set, adjust your preferences under Enhanced Tracking Protection.

Microsoft Edge

In Microsoft Edge, start by clicking on the menu button (three horizontal dots) ➔ selecting Settings ➔ go to Privacy, search, and services ➔ scrolling down to Clear browsing data ➔ clicking on Choose what to clear ➔ ensuring Cookies and other site data is selected and then clicking Clear now. To manage cookie settings, navigate to Cookies and site permissions in the settings menu.

Safari

For Safari, click on Safari in the top menu ➔ select Preferences ➔ go to the Privacy tab ➔ click on Manage Website Data to view and remove specific cookies or click Remove All to delete all cookies. Ensure that Prevent cross-site tracking is checked to enhance privacy.

Google Chrome

In Google Chrome, click on the menu button (three vertical dots) ➔ select Settings ➔ scroll down to Privacy and security ➔ Delete browsing data ➔ click on Cookies and other site data ➔ from here, you can remove the cookies you wish to delete. To prevent cookies from being set, consider blocking third-party cookies or customizing your settings further.

Where is Data stored?

All data collected via cookies is securely stored on servers that are owned and operated by QS MoveIN. These servers are located at AWS Paris. We ensure that the data stays within our infrastructure and is not transferred to external parties or services. The data we collect through analytics/performance cookies is used strictly for improving the performance and functionality of our product. It helps us understand visitor behaviour in an anonymized manner, allowing us to enhance the user experience.

Details of transfers to third country and safeguards

QS MoveIN analytics data is hosted in AWS Paris and is not transferred outside of France.

Retention period or criteria used to determine the retention period

We retain the personal data captured within MoveIN for a period of 4.5 years as per signed DPA agreements , unless otherwise required by law, at which point it will be deleted.

Right to be informed

You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal information. We ensure we do this with our internal data protection policies and through our external website notice. These are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure these are accurate and reflect our data processing activities.

Right to access personal information

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. This is known as a “Subject Access Request”.

We may need to ask you to provide:

  • proof of your identity
  • proof of your home address
  • any information that we reasonably need to locate the information you have requested (for example the website or event you registered for)

Right to restrict processing of personal information

You have the right to object to us processing your personal information for particular purposes.   • If you think QS MoveIN has processed your personal information unlawfully.
